Reproductive Life Stories (TC IRB #25-340)
Are you a woman in medicine reflecting on your reproductive path? We’re inviting participants for a narrative-based research study co-sponsored by the American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA).
This IRB-approved study explores how reproductive identity evolves over the course of a medical career—particularly during the pivotal years of residency, fellowship, and early practice. We are especially interested in hearing from residents, fellows, and physicians who are navigating or reflecting on reproductive choices while advancing professionally.
💬 Your lived experience matters. Too often, these conversations happen in private—if at all. Let’s change that.
In a confidential one-on-one Zoom interview, you’ll have the opportunity to share your story. We’re asking: How can institutions better support women in medicine through reproductive transitions? Your voice can help shape policy and promote structural change.
⏱️ Time commitment: ~2 hours Includes a brief online survey and a 60–90 minute semi-structured interview.

Reproductive Self-Identities (TC IRB #25-024)
We need your help and your voice! Anyone is welcome to take this survey.
What’s it about? We’re exploring how individuals aged 18+ who live in the US perceive and describe their reproductive selves. Your input will help shape a more inclusive understanding of reproductive identity.
⏱ It’s quick! Takes just 20-30 minutes
Are you trying to figure out who you want to be/become when it comes to family building and/or career aspirations? These are big questions.
This survey will help you reflect on these issues, gain clarity, and provide us with some insights too so we can help others. Win-win!
🏆 Participants are eligible to enter in a raffle and win a $50 Amazon gift card!
Note: We are especially looking to recruit participants from OUTSIDE of New York and to attract emerging adults who are struggling to figure out their reproductive decisions alongside other competing demands like their professional ambitions!
