Reproductive Life Stories (TC IRB #25-340)
Are you a woman in medicine reflecting on your reproductive path? We’re inviting participants for a narrative-based research study co-sponsored by the American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA).
This IRB-approved study explores how reproductive identity evolves over the course of a medical career—particularly during the pivotal years of residency, fellowship, and early practice. We are especially interested in hearing from residents, fellows, and physicians who are navigating or reflecting on reproductive choices while advancing professionally.
💬 Your lived experience matters. Too often, these conversations happen in private—if at all. Let’s change that.
In a confidential one-on-one Zoom interview, you’ll have the opportunity to share your story. We’re asking: How can institutions better support women in medicine through reproductive transitions? Your voice can help shape policy and promote structural change.
⏱️ Time commitment: ~2 hours Includes a brief online survey and a 60–90 minute semi-structured interview.
